New Swimmer Tryouts!

Thank you for your interest in the Linsday Lightningbolts Swim Club!!  

We will be hosting a new swimmer tryout session on June 11th from 5 - 6 PM at the Lindsay Rec Center.   

How to register for tryouts:

1. Create an account and set up your swimmer's info.

2. Select 'Programs & Assessments' ,  'New Members', select 'Explore & Register'  

3. Once registered, select the 'Events' tab select 'New Swimmer Tryouts' and declare  your attendace.  

The Lightningbolts offer a multi-level program designed to develop interest and participation in competitive swimming.  Swimmers are provided with a program to match their abilities and ambitions.  Physical conditioning and good health habits are encouraged.  Swimmers also learn team aspects of co-operation, responsibility and leadership, as well as individual dedication, confidence and self-esteem. An atmosphere is created in which the desire for self-improvement and goal achievement motivates the individual to develop their natural abilities and to help others do likewise.

Please note that attending a try-out does not guarantee a swimmer a spot on the team, however, swimmers that attend tryouts will be given priority registration before it opens to the public!
