A little about the
Lindsay Lightningbolts Swim Club

Founded in 1978 with just 15 swimmers, the Lindsay Lightningbolts Swim Club (LLSC) has grown into a cornerstone of the Kawartha Lakes community, offering swim programs that inspire and develop youth athletes of all ages and skill levels. Over the decades, LLSC has played a vital role in nurturing swimmers who have gone on to compete successfully at the regional, provincial, national, and international levels. Among our most celebrated alumni are Olympians: 🏅 Nancy Sweetnam – Competed at the 1992 Barcelona and 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games 🏅 Matt Rose – Competed at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. Their success is a testament to the club’s strong tradition of excellence in coaching, athlete development, and community support.
